Centum was established in 1994 to provide hybrid microelectronic circuits, frequency control products and complex manufacturing solutions to international and domestic electronics companies. By virtue of a demerger on 13th July 2007 the company split into Solectron EMS India Ltd and Centum Electronics Ltd. The EMS business was again merged back by virtue of a merger on 16th July 2010.
