OCXO – Oven controlled crystal oscillators

Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators are used in high precision frequency applications, where the oscillator should have good frequency stability with respect to temperature. The ambient temperature of the crystal unit of an OCXO is maintained at a constant higher temperature using a thermostatic oven in order to achieve the desired performance.
